*Student Residence
Ahh ! At last the first pictures !
Let's start by describing the dormitory !
First you have several (at least nine ! ) buildings here. All the buildings you can see in one of these pictures belong to the Student Residence. My building is called "Hall 3".
Then, let's move inside...
My room : I have been lucky, because I got a single room (9 m²), without showing any medical certificate saying my health requires a single room...
I share the bathroom with the room nextdoor which is a double-room. The bathroom is cleaned every Monday at 2 pm by the clean lady (she even signs a paper, certifying she has cleaned the bath room ! ).
Then the kitchen (one for the whole floor) which is also the common room. It is astonishing to see that here, everything is formalised : you have several posters saying that you have to clean the kitchen after using it...
You also have several facilities in the residence : a computer room with a printer, another common room, and last but not least...the piano !!!!
And right now, you must wonder : how much does she pay for all that ? That should be so expensive !!! In fact, in Hong Kong, living at the Student Residence is so a very good deal ! For four months, I pay around 7000 HK$ (700 euros) !!! If I had to rent a private flat, it would be much more expensive (maybe much more expensive than in Paris ???)... Life is beautiful in Hong Kong, isn't it ?
